Services:

Hours and Appointments:

  • Weekdays, Mon.,Tues.,Thurs.,Fri. open 8am-5pm, closed 12-1pm for lunch; Wed. open 9am-5pm, closed 12-1pm for lunch.
  • If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call 621-6490 at least 24 hours in advance, (if you are having a procedure), 1 hour for office visit to avoid a no-show fee. These fees range from $15 - $30 depending on the time allotted for the appointment. This also enables us to open the appointment time for another patient.
  • Please arrive 20 minutes early to fill out the health form. Our triage nurse is trained to handle many questions that may arise relative to your care. Feel free to call 621-7617 for questions and advice. Specific case-related medical questions will be reviewed with a doctor or nurse practitioner. Occasionally our lines are busy; please leave a message and your call will be returned. Our providers are also available as needed by appointment.
  • PatientLink is also available for cancelling and scheduling appointments online.
  • If you are a Health Sciences student, you can receive your Well Women Exams at the AHSC (Arizona Health Sciences Center) satellite clinic. To schedule an appointment call (520) 621-6490 and mention you are a AHSC student and want your well women visit at the AHSC Satellite clinic.

Staff:

  • The Women's Health Clinic at Campus Health is staffed by a board-certified Gynecologist, certified Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, and a Registered Nurse.

Birth Control and Other Prescription Refills:

  • At your annual exam, you will generally be given a 1 year refill for your contraception.*
  • Refills for Prescriptions Written at the Women's Health Clinic
    • We want to help you get your prescription refills as quickly as possible. After you call for your refill, please allow time for us to access and review your individual patient record. We ask you to call at least 48 hours in advance of your prescription needs.
  • Refills for Outside Prescriptions
    • You can transfer your prescriptions from another facility. The easiest way is to have the other provider call in your prescription to the Campus Health Pharmacy directly at 621-6516. Out-of-state prescriptions are accepted.
  • For contraceptive refills (from existing prescriptions) you wish to order through our Women's Health Clinic, you must have forwarded a current (within the last 10 months) copy of the following information:
    • most recent Pap test or biopsy result
    • name of oral contraceptive
  • We will ask you to schedule a short appointment (exam not required) to review your records with you and to have you sign our Oral Contraceptive (birth control pill) Consent Form.
  • If you are unable to provide your record, you will need to make an appointment with Women's Health. We do not provide refills of medication for patients we have never seen.
  • * There is a 48 hour turnaround time to process your refill request.

  • Depo-Provera transfers
    • If you have had your exam within the past year and just need your depo administered here, provide a copy of your last exam and pap and date of your last injection.
    • You will need to make an appointment with a provider in Women's Health before you receive your medication and sign a Depo-Provera consent form.
    • If you prefer to provide your own Depo-Provera medication, we will administer it after your appointment.

Emergency contraception or Plan B:

  • Is available over-the-counter in our pharmacy and outside pharmacies. If you have any questions about this, please call Women's Health triage at 621-6512.
